The Walls Group
The history of American Urban music is sprinkled with notable young talented singing groups and bands. From the The Clark Sisters to the Williams Brothers, brothers and sisters banning their musical talents together have kept generations of music lovers entertained and captivated. There is a new generation of gifted kinfolk and the word on The Walls Group is spreading quickly throughout Gospel and Christian music. From deep in the heart of Texas comes The Walls Group. Darrel 22, Rhea 17, Paco 16, and Ahjah 15, are the singing four of eight children born to Roger and Alicia Walls. With musically inclined parents, these kids could not escape the melodies and harmonies that coursed throughout the household and seeped into their souls.
The Walls are on a fast track to music notoriety, but under the watchful eye and firm hands of parents who have instilled the Word of God into them. Ministry is the heart of The Walls Group and singing is the vessel in which to tell of the good news. Their youthful voices stand toe to toe with some of the leading gospel artist today. Worship, contemporary gospel and a blend of urban pop comes alive with their charming charisma and stage presence.
The Walls Group is incredibly talented but remain grounded in family values and dedicated to ministry. They love spending time with their granny, Bayonne Moody and are always listening to music by their favorites Kim Burrell, Kiki Sheard, The Soul Seekers, Mary Mary, and Dorinda Clark- Cole. They are just an ordinary bunch of kids, living a pretty ordinary life, but are aspiring to do extraordinary things.

Darrel Walls started playing drums at the age of 4 and did so until he replaced them with the organ/keyboard. It is his passion for God that causes him to be an exceptional individual, songwriter and arranger. He aspires to someday be a great producer.
Rhea Walls’ shy personality is overshadowed by her governing but delicately pure soprano voice. She has an exceptional ear for music and plays piano and clarinet. But Rhea is also an outstanding athlete who runs track winning the Fort Bend County School District championship title in 100 and 300 meter hurdles. She’s a Junior Olympics contender!
Paco Walls is known for his raspy, soulful sound. Paco could win the attention of any crowd with his charm and his peculiar voice. Paco declares that God spoke to him in a dream and called him by his name and told him that he would pastor a mega-church one day.
Ahjah Walls has developed into an awesome alto with a unique vibrato. Ahjah can vocally riff and run like her older brother and is setting a course to be a dynamic female vocalist. In between singing, Ahjah loves to draw with aspirations to be a famous cartoonist.
The Walls Group are the first artists signed to Kirk Franklin’s Fo Yo Soul Entertainment. Franklin shares: “When I first saw a video of The Walls Group, I knew they were something special. The Walls Group on their sophomore album is scheduled for release in 2013. Later this month, the group will embark on a national tour, stopping in major cities including Lexington, KY, Indianapolis, IN, and Austin, TX.
